Halloween

Halloween was so much fun this year. Not only was Skysky so excited and so involoved this year, we also had our sweet little Asher with us. We were lucky enough to spend our weekend in Salt Lake with the Orgill family eating yummy Taco Soup! Our precious Skyler was a "Good Witch" this year. This was also the first year she went door to door Trick-or-Treating. She LOVED it! The weather got pretty stormy, but that didn't stop us! Joshy drove the van around for us to jump in and out of at each house, that seemed to make it even more fun!

We were also lucky enough to visit with all our best friends. Here is Asher's future wife Haddie. This is Adam and Stephanie Willis' little girl...you wouldn't know it by looking at this picture but Haddie is actually a few weeks older than Asher!

Yes, Joshy grew a beard! His reasoning was, "Just in case I need it for a costume for Halloween!" I, surprisingly enough, loved the beard on him! It's now long gone though. Just had to post a pic of it though.

This is a pic I took of Sky the day of Asher's blessing. We were so lucky to have sweet friends that came to visit. Sky played so hard with her friends Mylie and Kenra that about ten minutes after they left she passed out cold!

Freak Accident!!!

We had a very crazy Friday night! These are pictures of my injury! So here is the story...

I was sitting on the couch and BAM a snow globe sitting on a shelf about 3 feet above me fell on my head and shattered and some how sliced my arm open as well. When it first happened I didn't feel any pain. My eyes just started burning from the stuff inside the snow globe, so I ran to the bathroom to wash my eyes out. When I looked in the mirror I was covered in blood and it was just dripping off my face. Thank goodness Josh was home and he called my family and my Mom and Dad took me to the E.R. where I got 7 stiches in my arm and 3 in my head. The craziest part about this was that I was holding new born Asher and he did not get a scratch on him! We are so so blessed that he was not laying there by himself, it could have been a real terrible thing. Anyway, I guess I am still pretty accident prone, the accidents seem to always find me, haha!!!

Skyler is 3!!!

Our sweet Skyler is now 3, I cannot believe it! She was spoiled for sure! Here she is at 9:00 at nights eating her chocolate chocolate birthday cake!
This was the yummy cake! I have to laugh at it because we put that marshmallow stuff in the middle and for some reason it just kept oozing out, but it sure was yummy.

This was the day we brought Asher home, Sky had the idea to give Asher a birthday cake, so here is the fun event!

Sky also got some very fancy shoes from mommy and daddy, as well as a Tinker Bell plate and cup set. She got a few other fun things and I think overall had a great birthday.

So far, Skyler loves to watch movies, play outside, put on makeup, go to the park, ride her bike, pretend to be mommy, loves playing in the water. She also is a really good swimmer, she wears floaties, but very soon will probably not need anything. She is learning to read her letters and numbers, but knows her ABC's and can count to thirty. She also knows the planets, the months, the days of the week, and a few other things. She is our little sweet and spicy girl. She is very sweet and loving to everyone but definitly has a spicy side, haha! We love you Sky!!

Baby Boy Asher!!!

Here is our newest addition to the family! Baby Asher was born Thursday September 2, 2010, at 8:16 a.m. Weighing 8 lbs. 7 oz. and 21 inches long! We love this sweet little boy!

Love this picture of our sweet Sky with our handsome Asher. We were really worried to see how Sky would react to sharing the attention and having a sibling, but she has done amazing! She loves him so much, she loves to hold him and she gives him kisses everytime she sees him. She is a great helper girl and does anything we ask. We love you Sky Sky, you are such a good big sissy!

Things we love about Asher so far:

I love how when he gets frustrated he snorts and doesn't cry.

I love how when he is awake he is almost always puckering his lips, as if he is "Ooooooing" the new world around him.

I love his big huge eyes!

I love how he looks just like Josh.

I love how he only cries (or snorts) for 2 things, to be fed or changed.

We are still learning many things about Ash, and I am sure in my sleep deprived situation right now I am missing many things I want to write, but I will try to keep up on the blogging.

We love you Asher! Please don't grow up too fast!

I am so so proud of my little brother! He is reporting to the SLC MTC on Nov. 17, just in time to miss all the holidays, but at least he will still be around to meet little Asher! Love you Joshy!

Dog Attack!

Our poor Dewy got attacked by another dog at the park the other night! It was a pretty crazy, because the other dog was actually training to be a service dog! This dog was anywhere from 3 to 4 times the size of Dewy and was literally tossing Dewy around like a rag doll! Thank goodness Dewy is okay, we thought he was a goner while the attack was going on. He got 8 stiches and had some muscular tissue damage with stiches under the skin as well. If there was one good thing about this situation it was the other owner, they were so nice and felt terrible and completely paid for the whole E.R. visit. Here are a few pics of our poor Dewy Bewy!
